HOW TO LOOK ELEGANT EVEN IF YOU'RE COMPLETELY BROKE

The "Hand bag matches the shoes" façade totally works but spending too much on your shoes can be quite addictive.Don't worry! We got you covered! All you have to do is raid your own closet and look for the perfect shoes and Tah dah! No need to buy another pair in hours time!

Here are 10 most amazing ways on how too look fancy even if you're completely BROKE.

RULE 1 COLORS MATTER

- Black is never orange or anything else. If you search the meaning of the word black, you can get that the colour absorbs the light itself. Be that woman!

-Gold and Silver sometimes aren't appropriate with the occasion, but a little attention won't hurt. Show your metallic side by wearing one of these:

- In one teleserye, RED STILETTO is a weapon for war. Don't be afraid to wage a battle against the world.

RULE 2 LESS STRAP MORE SENTIDO

- One strap is enough to be sexy. We are no longer in Gladiator-era, clean up your closet and put away those sand storm shoes.
- Too much of anything is barbaric.
- Cross Straps and Back Straps are okay but never go full retard on whole-body strap

RULE 3 GO SOLID OR GO CHAOTIC

The middle of the two is not an option.

RULE 4 SILK, SANGRIA AND SCHOOL BUS

Materials for your shoes matters a lot depending on the occasion

SATIN for Weddings and Debuts
SILK for Friday night parties
SANGRIA for alluring evening by the beach
School Bus or Matted for regular days in the office

RULE 5 ME AND MY POINTY EDGES

- Pointy are never snotty! They are the best and you have to accept it, Elvian Princess.

- Imagine the resistance it makes when you glide the walkway.

- Sharp edges in fact gives away really sharp edges.

RULE 6 RIBBONS ARE FOR BABIES AND BUNNIES

There are things that can define your age and there are things that can separate you from being an easter egg mascot.

If you find yourself thinking of raiding your teenage niece's closet, think again or maybe just don't.

A little age-appropriate shoes would be best for your fancy dream, you can even jump up 10 times older your age to add sophistication.

AGE + 10 = WINNING TOOL!

RULE 7 BOYLOOK

We take it back. You can't survive the fancy world without the help from other people.

Time to raid your boyfriend's shoe collection and put those Nike shoes to good use.

Loafers are also gems in this genuinely resourceful unisex society. And if you have one, don't ever let it go!

RULE 8 LET'S BRING '88 BACK

RULE 9 ROAR CHAMP ROAR

If this can't strut anything, then what could? Shoe your inner animal side and flaunt your beastly persona out there with the finest animal printed shoes!

RULE 10 THAT ONE COMFY BROKE GIRL

-Let's face it, everyone wants to have that proud feeling when you're strutting your high-heels like you're rocking a runway. However it may be, we still end up choosing the best all-around shoes we have. It's our talisman we wear in our daily lives. Flip-flops and Flats are the best go-to-shoes, even the richest of the richest wears one.

Designer Pricelist -

Here's a little something from designers that would truly reflect how customized things get processed:

This will also help you get what you've always wanted.

Isn't it funny that every time you ask someone to design for you, you tend to over power the designer's idea and get something you don't really want?

Like ending up with a piece of throw away garbage that YOU designed in the first place. Let the designers do their work *winks*

Rouleau Gallery has been given the chance to partner with very promising and talented designers. It was a huge success given that we, at Rouleau Gallery, was able to reach the upper class industry.
This only proves that local Filipino designers has more to offer and can globally compete with a better edge of success.

While making the shoes, I had a little mind of how big this would impact the shop. I was thinking at that moment was “to get it over with”. I was able to cut through deadlines and knots just to have the shoes delivered to my friend who was able to hook us up for the photoshoot.

On of my favorite photos. I salute the model by having been able to walk the type of pavement in the picture. I guess she had a little help from our very comfortable shoes.

This is the cover. Kathryn Bernardo looking rather glam.

This is where my heart stopped. Its overwhelming enough to be in a magazine but to be paired with Tiffany & Co., it would be like actually living the dream.

New Shoes Fund

Do you find yourself between having the shoes you are in love with and the depth of your pocket?

“A Shoe has so much more to offer than just walk” - Christian Louboutin

All good things come when you wait. However, this good thing will only happen if you push it to the limit of actually wanting to achieve it.

Here are some tips we can share for you to be able to save up for that grand shoes:

Save up: Just like when you want to travel, you save up until you reach the amount where-in you can walk up to the store and purchase that sweet precious sandals.

Clearing Sale: Always check on clearance sales or any sale at every mall. Never settle for a whole price! Bargaining won't hurt. Haggling would even be better.

Mark the date: your goal is very important. It is easier to keep track if you have it all planned out with your calendar. Make that day special like buying a brand new car.

“There is no difference in buying a car and a shoe, a car will bring you from point A to point B, the same goes with shoes. The only difference is you rock that long legs and you shake that hip with dazzle”

Weigh your options: Never settle for less. Always check on the pros and cons of the shoes you want to buy. If you are a flats-person do not buy a Platform shoes because of your unstable emotion towards shopping. Girls can be totally insane when it comes to buying the WANT than the NEED.

Achieve it: It is very important that you accept your purchase as a trophy or success. You put up a lot of effort just to have those precious stilettos. You will feel more gratified than all the other things you order online.

Now you are ready to face the real world of wonderful shoes.

Share your “New Shoes Funds” with us. You may send your story on how you challenge yourself into buying a new shoes through our e-mail: rouleaugallery@gmail.com and get a chance to be featured in our shoeparazzi of the week!

THE SEARCH IS OVER..

Can you believe that we just a stone throw away from another big holiday?!

THINK: BIG READ HEART-SHAPED objects everywhere.

It's the time of the year when red is probably the new black. And everywhere you look, all you see are flowers, candies, chocolates all in differents sizes but all in the glorious shade of RED!

Oh yes, whether you love it or not, Valentines day is just around the corner.

One of my favorite days of the year! This is when we have the license to be all so mushy and sentimental. It's also perhaps the second most celebrated day of the year, next to Christmas.

Everyone ( even the singles ) are busy prepping and searching for the perfect one.. Perfect date, perfect dress, perfect gift and that elusive one true love.

You'd probably agree that will all this busy buzzy chaos, the searching part would be the hardest, from which dress to wear for dinner, or what wine to order... We are all faced with a lot of choices and yet, never get to find the one! We would always want to have one  quality from each all of the options for that one perfect match we are looking for, right?! How we wish we can just customize everything... Just for everything to fit perfectly!

HERE IS A SAMPLE for YOUR RED VALENTINE

Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.
